It’s Hot and I’m Bothered

Posted on July 31, 2006, modified on August 21, 2011 | 1 Comment

Anyone currently in Toronto knows by now that we’ve been struck by a bit of a heat wave over the last few weeks. Today it hit a high of 34° C with tomorrow hitting 37° C (that’s 95° F and 98.6° F for my American friends).

Hot damn it’s, er, hot!

Fortunately I’ve got a little window A/C unit to keep me relatively cool, so it’s not so bad, and the nights here on the 19th floor are relatively breezy, so I sleep fairly well. Still, it’s unpleasant and I’m looking forward to the end of the week when it’s supposed to cool down a tad (28° C!)

I’m going to try and remember this heat when winter comes and I’m complaining about the cold in January. Either that or eff off to somewhere warm for a week.

So there you have it, I’m complaining about the weather. I wonder if it has anything to do with me turning 32 this month?

It certainly has and it is getting worth every year … once you hit the sixties you are only on about the weather, your knees and your back :) never mind, it could be worse.
