Life Without Television

Posted on August 2, 2006 | No Comments

Since moving into the apartment a few months ago I’ve been without a TV. It was an experiment and I wanted to see how long I’d last before breaking down. So, a few months later and truthfully, I really don’t miss it that much at all. I do rent the occasional movie or TV series, but not that often. I was hoping I’d read more, but I find myself doing other things, like working and such. That was one advantage of the hellish hour-long commute on the subway I used to take: I read a lot of books. Now, not so much, but I do pepper my time with the occasional magazine.

I’ll let you know how I hold up when the fall season comes.
