Playing Interactive Booklets in iTunes

If you’ve recently down­loaded an album from iTunes with an inter­ac­tive book­let and can’t get it to work, here’s a lit­tle tip (this is for the Mac):

1. From the Apple menu, select Sys­tem Preferences…
2. Click on Quick­Time
3. Click the Advanced tab
4. Select Enable Flash
5. Restart iTunes

And that’s it, your inter­ac­tive book­lets should now work!

I have no idea why this was dis­abled ini­tially, but there you have it. If you’re on Win­dows, the process is sim­i­lar except you need to open up the advanced Quick­time pref­er­ences from the Con­trol Panel. Restart­ing iTunes is prob­a­bly a good idea as well.
