This morning was uniquely unpleasant. The fire alarm went off at 6:00 AM (!) and continued for at least 10-15 minutes. And what with the heat, I didn’t exactly sleep well to begin with. I normally rise around 7:00 AM, so there was no point in going back to sleep really. I ended up just going to work early.
