So I weighed in again last Wednesday and I've lost another 5 pounds. So that puts the total up to 35 pounds so far. I notice that I began losing weight from my face first, which was probably the last place it went on. That took awhile to get used to. It felt like I was looking at a slightly different person in the mirror.

I've been losing weight, with the occasional positive spike, ever since I began with an average of about 2 pounds a week. Some weeks have been naturally a bit harder than others and there's been a fair amount of temptation, like say the ice cream truck that kept roaming around my neighbourhood this summer.

Aside from that, it's been a very positive experience, but I'm still looking forward to reaching my goal weight (185 lbs). That will be a good week and I'll finally be able to go on a clothes shopping spree without fear that my pants will be too big in a week.

I really do need some more pants.
