Special Dark

This morning started off well. Remember yesterday when I got a free chocolate bar? Well, it happened again. I know, know! I believe Hershey’s is having some sort of promotion going on. So anyway, this time around it was a Hershey’s Special Dark with Almonds. So good, but then chocolate usually is. This time, rather than handing them out at the North-West Corner of Yonge and Eglinton, it was one guy handing them out near the entrance to the subway station at on the South-West corner. I’m telling you, this area rocks the hiz, for serious. Well, except for the guy who hands out the “Jews for Jesus” flyers, which I just don’t get. I haven’t seen him in a while, which is just fine. And the thing is, the concept is so odd that you almost want to stop and ask him about it before realizing, of course, that you’ll be subjecting yourself to his particular brand of madness which will haunt and irritate your brain for the rest of the day. Yeah, no thank you. Mind you, being an atheist — well, I’m kind of on the agnostic side of atheism, really — I’m not exactly onboard for that kind of discussion anyway, but I digress…

The rest of the day was just OK, although I did manage to take care of a few small things at work, which is always good, but more work looms ahead unfortunately.
