All this talk of beer made me completely forget to write about this: I’m moving.

Come May 1st (well slightly earlier, but that’s the official date) I’ll be living in the Yonge and Eglinton area. I’ve toughed it out in the wilds of Scarborough long enough and, as I’ve mentioned before, the commute is killing me. So now I’ll be a sweet 2-5 minute walk away from work. So good, so good. And there’s a Starbucks on the way, which is a delightful bonus. Actually there’s 3 all within walking distance, which is kind of nuts, really. And since I’ve been working in the area for just over 5 years, I know it pretty well and it has a damn fine selection of restaurants. Damn fine.

So yeah, I did some shopping at Ikea, which was fun and mildly stressful, and I’ve got a couple of friends to help me, so I’m all set. I’ll let you know how the move goes which should happen in a couple of weeks.

This also brings up another thing, which is that I’m going to retire this domain since a) I’ve grown to hate it and b) I won’t be living in the suburbs anymore. So instead I’m going to pack up and move all the half decent posts over here and do a complete redesign, which I’ve been meaning to do for ages. Not quite sure what I’m going to do yet, but I’ll think of something.
