The Move is Complete

The big move was last weekend and it went surprisingly well, despite my fretting and stressing out. It didn't take as long as I thought (about an hour). This is of course due to the help of some friends from work (thanks Tara and Nadine!). Naturally, I forgot a few things and had to pick them up later, but that's to be expected.

So what's it like at Yonge and Eglinton? Well, I have to say, being able to walk to work in 5 minutes is heavenly. That's definitely a bonus. And just about every shop, restaurant, or what have you is within walking distance.

So anyway, I've just about settled in now except of few odds and ends I still need to sort out. I installed some venetian blinds this evening and although I've probably done this over 40 times (seriously), it's fidgety bullshit every time -- every time. Thank the gods for hammer drills is all I can say about that.

So there you have it, done and done. I think I may go out for a drink later or just tour the neighbourhood.
