After using OS X for almost a year I’ve noticed an interesting change in my behaviour when I use Windows. Here are but a few examples of that behaviour:
- I moved the Recycle Bin to the bottom-right of the screen to approximate the location of the Trash in the Dock
- I press
Ctrl+Qto close an open application, which of course doesn’t work - I lose track of where the X is — it’s on the left side of the window on a Mac
- When I find the X, I click it forgetting that it actually closes an application, not the window for that application
- I press the Windows logo key instead of
ALT— that’s where it would be on a Mac keyboard (more on this interesting phenomena here and here
